First on the list was Club M - not much fun, all five girls were already occupied with customers so one drink and byebye. Off to Babylon, a little more fun but still too quiet and the choice of girls less than inspiring. From here I hoofed it over to Pattaya Tai and checked out Whisper, which was bloody hopeless - ugly, disinterested girls and not many of them - such a pity as the original developers did a fine job with it. From there I went the back way over to Soi Regional Lands and was surprised to see Three Ways open for business - in for a drink but again, less than inspiring. From there a wander down the road to Camel Toe where I finally had a good time - met a cutie who recognized me from before Covid and had fun. By this time it was getting late and I wanted to get out of there before dark to walk the back way up to Jade House - however, I left it too late and took one wrong turn along the way and ended up over on 3rd Rd by the flyover after hoofing it through some very rural areas at top speed, 555...dogs were getting active and growly and I was happy to get out of there. Finally out of there and caught a baht bus to Jomtien for a beer or two and then back to Pattaya again. However, I really enjoyed myself because this is the first time since coming here last week that I really had a chance to get out and stretch my legs and I am happy to report that I am good to go - I can feel my mildly arthritic knee but it does not hamper me and I was charging through the back sois just like in the old days - I'm looking forward to some longer walks to try to keep in shape. Glad you are feeling better. All that walking and beers you will sleep like a rock !

It was hard but they were the ones who brought me into this world and despite the difficult and undignified way I had to take care of them, when the carers were not around, it was my duty and wish to take care of all their needs. It was only later at a hospital meeting with an NHS manager, a social services manager, a senior nurse, a physiotherapist and a doctor did my father go into a home. My mother was at our family home but in and out of hospital with kidney problems. There were few charges to my father in the home other than basic care as my mother was still officially living at home. My father died shortly after my mother was transferred to the hospice and social services came to see me to sign a document that requested us to sell the house to pay for her care. I did a little detective work and found out that if the person needed 24 hour care then the Trust was still responsible for her needs, including paying for the hospice fees. We actually got a letter of apology from the head of the Trust and the social services lady was heavily reprimanded for approaching us to sell the family home. Many times when visiting my mother I saw a Trust sister come in to check on my mum and confirm that they were responsible for her care and fees. I spoke to a financial advisor yesterday & he said as I own half of her house they won't force me to sell it but put a lien on it so when it does get sold they get half the dosh.He said that they would leave my mum with £23k & take the rest to pay for her care. 1

I don't know if there has been a major "incident" on Sukumvit or not but there were quite a few ambulances going up and down Pattaya Tai .. 1
maipenrai
Spent most of yesterday afternoon at the hospital getting my ears cleaned for the first time in over three years - poor nurses had a rough time of it, had three of them working me over at times but they did the job with the usual Thai charm and cheer, giggling and joking up a storm as they went along. I've got unusually small ear passages which didn't make the job any easier for them but what a difference after they were done! Unfortunately, I felt sniffles coming along as I was having this done which turned into another full-fledged cold later last night and worse this morning - really having bad luck with this so far in my trip and I guess it'll be off to the pharmacy again... 1 1

How much? What preparation did you have to take before hand and for how many days? I'm pretty much deaf now and would like everything cleaned out before I go on holiday to UK.. What preparation did you have to take before hand and for how many days? I'm pretty much deaf now and would like everything cleaned out before I go on holiday to UK.. This was at Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4; I've had it done there a couple of times before and yesterday's price was 2191b. There's no real preparation beforehand, what they do is put some kind of fluid in your ears that softens the wax and you lay on alternate sides on the cot as they are doing this, @15 minutes per side. Once this stuff has done its trick, and you can feel it bubbling in your ear canal, then they bring out a device that squirts fluid into your ear canal and then sucks it back out with pieces of wax and they keep working with this until the ear canal is clear. Now the last time I had this done they took me upstairs to a new machine that does the whole thing mechanically - it even has a camera that shows the work as it is being done and it only took about ten minutes - this is what I thought they would do the other day and I was surprised when they did it all manually instead. They did say I could have waited until 5:00PM that day for a specialist to come in and perhaps that would have been the better thing to do because the nurses had a difficult time of cleaning my ears after three years' worth of wax accumulation and I really hope I never have to leave it this long again - for me it should really be done every year or year and a half or so. 2 2
