Just finished assembling a scooter that I have bought for my Grandson for Xmas. One less thing to do this week.

Dreading doing a supermarket shop this week, will be chaos. Hopefully no fighting over the last of the Yorkhire puddings 😁😁

Alcohol will be my main priority.

I went shopping with my daughter today in Aldi.

The car park was full at 2pm and long queues at the check outs. No shortages on stock including turkeys.

In amongst all their large variety of cheap wine  were two bottles of Tawny Port priced at £49 a bottle. I am sure it tastes wonderful but four times as wonderful as a bottle of Taylor's vintage port? I think not.

I distinctly remember getting a Mobo scooter one Christmas. It had a foot brake as I recall. :default_blum:

Was going to watch Salems Lot on Sky Sci-Fi .... but it traumatised me as a kid , the child vampire knocking on the window ....and I only lasted a few minutes before turning back to the darts ... 555 🧛‍♂️

The original Friday the 13th for me…..Jesus. Betsy Palmer I’m sure was a kind soul in real life…..but that role, probably couldn’t watch that movie comfortably until my early 20’s

Just got great news in the mail. Driving my last hospital visit 2 weeks ago, I had enough and applied online for my Quebec health card. Easy process, but they insisted it’s a 60 day process, and only IF approved. So was expecting it around Valentine’s Day……lo and behold my shiny new card arrived just now. I’m sure being a returning resident after 22 years helped me

So no more asking for services as a “Non-resident”, that’s already putting my mind at ease…..

I usually was OK all these years……but I had to turn off Halloween 2007 just before I called for the ambulance when my heartburn struck. Don’t want to sound like a poof, I’m going to see all the proper specialists in the New Year, but my condition has many “DONT’S” right now. No fried fatty foods, no cashews, no XL coffees(one Nespresso is OK), no chocolate, and absolutely ZERO naps after a meal OR eating past 8 pm. Oh yeah, and no violent movies before bed

Sounds nuts, but every day my esophagus doesn’t flare up, is a good one

Contemplating suicide!

f**k me.... Why is technology so bloody annoying. Been trying to pair my wife's Marshall blootooth ear buds to my tablet. Waste of feckin time. Give me a pair of half decent over the ear headphones any day. Just plug the buggers in and away you go. And they don't fall out of your lugholes aswell.

Going to buy some tomorrow to save all the shitting about. Merry Christmas everybody!

Following on from my rant last night re flecking Bluetooth earbuds.... As an audiophile of sorts (Pumpuynarak) will know where I'm coming from... I've got what I needed for the next few weeks. Even if these ugly buggers disintegrate they will and do produce a sound that I'm OK with.

Obviously not a patch on the quality of the Marshall earbuds but at least they won't drop out my ears.

Should have been 350 baht but got them for 100 baht at IT square in Lak Si.

Bollocks to ear buds and blootooth.

They never worked for me. I have never been good with sticking things into my ear.

I have Bose Quietcomfort headphones that I use on flights, but for everyday use I settled on in ear monitor buds. With the cord going over the ear to the back it helps keep them seated in my ear. Sound quality is excellent and at a great price.

I couldn't be assed to walk a 2 hour round trip to PBG just to suck on a runny egg and mashed potato (with yolk running down my chin, obviously), so just took a short walk to Big C Pattaya Tai.

It is my first time in there since the first Lockdown and was quite surprised how quiet it was..

Anyways, I bought 2 bottles of 19 Crimes Shiraz 14% (599 each), a bottle of Laughing Bird 13.5% (579?), and a pack of chocolate doughnuts..... I guess I shall have what looks like runny poo dribbling down my chin later then !!!!

Just finished a great Xmas dinner with the guys and gals. Got talked into 16 of us throwing in 1k, winner take all playing 9 ball pool.

3 parts pissed already so should be fun.

Because it's Xmas, they decided to pay 3 places. I have won the winners side  so am waiting for the winner of the loosers side to come around to play me.

Well pissed so will be a lottery methinks.

I ended up playing a girl and giving her a 1 start race to 6.

Was very close, I won Hill Hill.

Shame it wasn't winner take all, but still well happy with the Win.
