Just thinking it is a lovely day, weather warming up which is good for taking my daughter for a nice drive later to the mountains of Brecon.

Should be a nice day on her birthday aswell for Wednesday. Can't believe she will be 6, great times.

Setting up my new phone, putting screen protector and case on. Wouldn't use it without them, never had a cracked or bust phone due to being dropped yet.

Since Samsung started fitting Gorilla glass to their phones, I have never fitted a screen cover and have never had a scratched or damaged screen. I do however use a 2 meter drop tested phone protector from a company called Survivor. This has been put to test many times as I have gotten way more clumsy with older age.

Lets hope I am not tempting fate. LOL

Enjoying the final of the snooker, two of the games greats battling it out.

Can see this going all the way.

Last nights game was a cracker, especially that final frame, could have gone either way. Great fightback from Ronnie.

Having spent 3.5 hours this morning holding doors, wiping clipboards,  cleaning chairs and directing victims, I now have AZ's best blood clothing agents vaccine circulating my body. The average time from victims arriving, the process being explained, shown to a seat to fill forms in, to being jabbed and kicked out was about 12 minutes. Bloody brilliant process.

Interesting conversation with the GP who stabbed me, along the lines of she was a stout remainer, but having seen how the EU has messed up their vaccination programme, and the threats they are coming up with, she is really glad we left and is proud to be part of the UK programme.

I had mine a couple of days after yours. Was vaccinated and then drove home.

Don't they need to wait for 15 mins after the jab , before they are kicked out ?

Apparently victims could chose to wait in a side room, or in their cars, or if they have walked in can leave straight away. I was allowed to leave as soon as I'd been done, but it was lunchtime and I was on foot

It's 15 minutes for the Pfizer but for Astra Zeneca it's only for road users or those with a history of allergic reactions.

I agree, both playing very well, only thing depends if Ronnie comes out tonight with his long game, if not Robertson will win.

I had AZ , everyone had to wait , I walked there ... different centres doing it slightly differently maybe

Could be or maybe some places making one set of rules for simplicity?  My info came from a guy who's giving jabs in the North East of England and they change the procedure dependant on what jab is being given.

I'm very pleased with it so far, little bit bigger than my last phone, but lots of good stuff on it.

I had the Astra Zeneca jab and after I was advised I could sit for 15 minutes if required.  I probably sat for 10 minutes then went out to my car where I ate a sandwich and then drive 1.5 hours home.  Never had any adverse reaction or ache since.

So little reaction I was worried they didn't put any vaccine in me.

Just returned from Pattaya's golf driving range.

I have not played a round of golf for at least 3 years mostly because my back and knees were giving me messages of grief.

I did take my clubs up to Mae Sot and they promptly closed the golf course for good and the nearest golf course now is in Burma. Probably has tanks parked in it waiting to go on crowd control.

Well as it is my mate Sweatie's birthday tomorrow I promised to treat him to a round of golf hence the driving range today to see if I could still swing a club. I was amazed to discover I am no worse than I was the last time I played which does not say a lot. 🤣

I am glad I brought my clubs back to Bangsaray.

Just my two dogs still to follow.

Sun's coming out, Kataleya's birthday on Wednesday and Porn has just received a call to let her know she has been successful in her job application.  She will now be working for the NHS in hotel services, a nice term for cleaning and catering but a great job to have a contract with.

I believe Porn's job may mean that she will not need to pay the IHS (International Health Surcharge) of £1872 when she applies for her extension for 'leave to remain' in October.

It has been a good day and hopefully will be a great week.

I paid my membership for my local golf club yesterday and hope to get out and play more this year too, everything opens up from today and I just spoke to my neighbour asking him if he is going to play again as he took his clubs out of the car having just played 18 holes. LOL

The sun is shining so after a much needed coffee I am breaking out the fishing gear to put new line on and generally get organised to go. My big lake opened up again today too.

I just went to two Romanian shops here in the UK to try & get some beer. When I first started buying it here it was £1 for a 500ml can so a good deal for excellent beer.

The first one wanted £1.40 & the second £2.I suspect some dual pricing is going on here as there's no way a Rom is going to pay that.

So I went to ASDA & got some 660ml bottles of Birra Moretti @ £6 for 4.Going for a drink in my mates back garden tomorrow & he only drinks white wine.He would gladly let me drink it but I tend to drink white wine like beer & fall over very quickly.

I have done f**k all today apart from putting my waste into a wheely bin. Got a 2 hour Zoom meeting at 5pm and not relishing the thought. I should have been outside in the lovely sunshine that we are having today. At least for the first time in weeks, I managed to sleep right through from Midnight to 9am last night but can't say I feel any better for it. Got to get myself into gear now that Covid rules have started to ease and the weather has changed.

I am quite partial to Birra Moretti as long as it's ice cold and that is a great price too.

Hoping we're not going to subjected to daily news bulletins on the 'Big Floyd' trial, though i dread to think we will, sigh!

What? You don't want a change from the Harry and Meghan saga that's been blighting the news for what seems like forever?
