I just had another phone consultation with a GP who asked me if I was going back for more physio....I said you must be joking not after the pain I was in after yesterday's session. She suggested going again but taking an Ibuprofen beforehand.

Question to any guys who've been through this: Is it usual to be in absolute agony after physio?

I just talked to the physio & she said that she doesn't want to give me any more treatment until there is more investigation,so now got another doc calling me at 5pm.....

Physiotherapy is always the cheap option,  get yourself scanned, so there is no guessing.

I've made an appointment to see a consultant at a private hospital, but I still want to see what the doc today says.

If the GP would just call the physio I saw yesterday then it would all be so much easier.

Had a blood test today for prostate cancer as that can spread causing back pain, but my waterworks are fine.

Just got off the phone to my wife who is on her break at work. She is besides herself with excitement because the Welsh government has announced that every carer will receive a tax free £1000 in April. She will have spent it 10 times over by the time she gets home tonight.:default_biggrin:

That's great news mate. Lots can change between now and then, do the decent thing and explain that she can spend her half after it lands in the bank. :default_fun:

I told Porn that your lady would be happy. Of course Porn is hoping that the NHS staff get a good deal but it won't be the same for sure.

Just back from a good 2 hour walk. I had less shopping to do so arrived at my offie before it opened!!

Standing outside an off license at 07:50 waiting for it to open may appear to be a bad thing but I needed to load up with some weight to make the walk more beneficial...perhaps that's the wrong word.....more worthwhile ?...nope wrong again .....more knackering is what I mean!!!

What you are trying to say is that you were in urgent need of replenishing alcohol stocks and the burden of carrying it home was a bitch.

Reading the good news in the morning press.

She should have been sacked long ago.

Agreed it's good news but with Khan as Mayor her replacement is likely to be his toady muppet.

Khan needs to go also but given the racial make up of London he's probably got the job for life.

Just bought 2 tickets for Madness at Cardiff castle. I'll have to go into training and practice me skanking😀20220211_112227.jpg

I went to see them at O2 recently supported by Squeeze who were very good. Great atmosphere and despite being older, they created.a lot of energy. You will have a good time.

Does Paul Carrack play with Squeeze at the moment?

Where is this - looks tranquil

I don't think so mate. I think he is doing solo tours in 2022.

Could be wrong, I didn't know much about Squeeze apart from their hits and days with Jools Holland, years ago.

The band they have now are really good.

I have been to a few solo Paul Carrack gigs here in Cardiff and also seen Glen Tilbrook solo a couple of times, both brilliant musicians and song writers.

First band I ever saw live back in 1980 when I was a little 12 year old skinhead.👍

I have actually seen them live before for 5minutes. I was working as an agency chef at Admiral Insurance Christmas staff party and Madness had been hired as part of the evenings entertainment, It was held at the Motorpoint arena here in Cardiff and the arena had been fairground themed around the perimeter. By the time Madness came on the chefs were clearing down but some us took 5 mins out to watch the start of the show from behind some temporary screens. It was amazing, there was 2000 revellers and most of them were up on their tables going for it to One Step Beyond.:default_party-smiley-048:

Reflecting on how the Amerinds use to do a dance to bring the rain, and later seeing the Meoh people of the mountains around Thailand do the same.

Texans found the answer awhile back.

I had the truck washed yesterday.

I'm listening to the thunderstorm roll in.
