Still haven't watched it, too busy travelling in cosmopolitan UK.

But yea, Covid has been a boom industry for these modern day con men, as every window licking conspiracy nutjob has been wanking furiously all through it, can't get enough of Covid, as to them it validates whatever big conspiracy they decided to buy into, to escape from their own pitiful reality.

Said it before, but these anti vacc scum have the blood of many innocent kids on their hands, kids that had no choice, gullible parents sucked in by these charlatans and snake oil sales men. Icke and Alex Jones are minted from fleecing the simple minded.

Afraid I've been a bit naive of the anti vax stuff. Had no idea that people were making money off the back of it.

Also Trump's famous bleach remark, just hadn't realised that he was just repeating what he'd heard from one of these opportunists.

It's good semi-normal life is returning, and we can me up again with family and friends across the UK. Once we are properly "free" I'll most likely have zero interest in even learning about these scum bags.

Wonder what the next band waggon they'll jump onto post- COVID?

...

The moron that was our President for four long years was making an off the cuff remark after seeing a slide listing disinfectants and sunlight as something that can kill the virus. No idea why he would even think injecting bleach might even be possible. And the thing with sunlight is the UV wavelength (UVC) that can kill the virus causes skin burns, cancer, and eye damage.

He would have been well advised to remember this saying, "better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt".

It seems he was one of the first to say that it came out of a Lab. The way things seem to be coming out now..... looks like he may not be the fool many made him out to be on that issue.

cheers

Makes you wonder -

Kurt Eichenwald@kurteichenwald

This morning, my MD wife worked at a major vaccine center in Dallas. Whole place was staffed, ready to vaccinate. No one – *no one* – showed up for a vaccine. Only 44% of Dallas county is vaccinated. This is bad.

America is a "free" country. Here you can die from whatever you choose. Kill your kids, too.

The vaccine is free, too.

Sad.

But, the good news is that figure keeps dropping. The rolling 7 day average is dropping by about 15% daily. Hopefully that continues.

So presumably the same figures just presented differently?  Shows you can make the stats tell any story you like.

Washington state offers “joints for jabs” incentive: Washington state says licensed marijuana stores can offer free joints to encourage coronavirus vaccination, the Associated Press reports. The “Joints for Jabs” program the state announced Monday allows pot retail shops to give away a single pre-rolled joint to anyone over 21 who gets a shot at vaccine clinic by July 12. The state already lets breweries, wineries and restaurants offer free drinks in exchange for proof of vaccination. Other incentives include free sports tickets and prize money of up to $1 million.

UK 'Freedom day' a certainty to get put back, at least in the form it was meant to happen.

I'd actually put it back to end of July when by then every adult will have been offered a jab. Then those fuckwits that didn't, can take their chances. Why should the rest of us suffer due to those fucking idiots.

Covid Live Updates: States Warn of Expiring J.&J. Shots and Are Told to Consult F.D.A.

State health officials are growing concerned about whether Johnson & Johnson doses may expire this month, and a White House adviser said governors could consult with the agency on storage procedures. Pfizer and Moderna are now testing their vaccines on those as young as 6 months...

... Concerns among state health officials about the Johnson & Johnson doses have dovetailed with a significant drop in vaccination rates across the nation. As of Monday, providers were administering about 1.13 million doses per day on average, a 67 percent decrease from the peak of 3.38 million reported on April 13. About 64 percent of adults have received at least one shot, according to federal data.

Ohio officials said this week that they were not legally allowed to send the doses to other states or countries. Once vaccines are shipped out to states, federal regulations have prohibited recalling them even if they are not needed domestically.

As the U.S. struggles to use up its supply of vaccines, other countries continue to plead with the U.S. and other wealthier nations to share doses. More than 2.18 billion vaccine doses have been administered worldwide, equal to 28 doses for every 100 people, with some countries yet to report a single dose, according to Our World in Data at the University of Oxford. There are 24 countries that use the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director-general of the W.H.O., bemoaned at a news conference on Monday what he called a “two-track pandemic,” with wealthy countries using much of the world’s vaccine supply. ...

Maybe vaccine passports are a way forward:

Hospitality businesses will be screaming for this if they are not allowed to open properly on June 21st.

In a recent report, half of the UK Adult population watched Porn during the Pandemic with Pornhub being the most popular site.

Absolutely disgusting 😄😄😄😄😄

I watched mainly nature programs. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

Guess those minorities living in Dallas County Texas better get in line to get their vaccine. Only 28% of the county is white non-hispanic, and a Democrat blue voting county in Texas. This nonsense about white Repubs not getting the vaccine is another fake news story. What do you want to bet that the majority of those 44% vaccinated are white?

I see those John Legend commercials, "this is our shot", about going to Walgreens drugstore to get the vaccine and not one of those faces in that commercial are white. The message to get vaccinated is being targeted by and large to the minority community in America.

Always good to do a quick fact check and simple analysis before one wagers about demographics.

"...majority of those 44% vaccinated are white?"

You would lose that bet.

Factual information about Dallas County demographics:

> 30.04% of the vaccinated are "white"

> 43.44% of the vaccinated are Latino

See: https://www.dallascounty.org/covid-19/

The racial makeup of the county was 53.4% White (33.12% non-Hispanic white), 22.30% Black or African American, 0.10% Native American, 5.15% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 14.04% from other races, and 2.70% from two or more races. 38.30% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_County,_Texas#:~:text=The racial makeup of the,or Latino of any race.

More African Americans in Dallas County do need to get out and get their vaccine shots. Yet, their vaccination rate overall is higher than whites. As a group they have long standing concerns about health care.

Fueled by a History of Mistreatment, Black Americans Distrust the New COVID-19 Vaccines
https://time.com/5925074/black-americans-covid-19-vaccine-distrust/

. . .

"This nonsense about white Repubs not getting the vaccine is another fake news story."

No it is not. It is consistent with what is happening all around the country.

. . .

White Republicans are refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine more than any other demographic group in Texas
https://www.texastribune.org/2021/03/23/covid-vaccine-hesitancy-white-republicans/

In Texas, 59% of Republicans either said they are reluctant to get the vaccine or would refuse it outright, according to the February University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll.

. . .

As more Americans get vaccinated, 41% of Republicans still refuse COVID-19 shots
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/as-more-americans-get-vaccinated-41-of-republicans-still-refuse-covid-19-shots

... at this point in the pandemic, politics may be a greater predictor of one’s inclination to get vaccinated. Republicans were less likely to say they’ve already been vaccinated, at 45 percent, and more likely to say they do not plan to get vaccinated, at 41 percent. Just 4 percent of Democrats and 27 percent of independent voters said they do not plan to get vaccinated, according to this latest poll.
