Don't usually watch that much tennis, but i'm enjoying this, Alcaraz just levelled 1 set each.

Hoping he smashes Djokovic, not really sure why, but hoping he smashes him none the less

Brilliant!

Had me up and down, shouting and swearing at the TV and all sorts.

Missus thought it was a Rangers/Celtic game :default_biggrin:

Just going through my latest shopping spree from AliExpress including a couple of temperature data loggers normally used for cold chain monitoring. Can usually get a laugh out of the translated instructions.

Please renewal battery first then use the record instrument in long distance transporting when power of record instrument reduced to be two rattles.

Hiding in my bedroom while they tear out the old A/C unit in the other room.

4 man job. Back in the States you'd rarely get more than 2 guys for a job like this. Hopefully it will be over quickly.

A/C project went smooth as silk. Such a pleassure to have repaired.

Top fellows. They couldn't even read the Thai script on the circut breaker switches, but we figured it out.

Back in heaven watching the trees sway in the wind and the rain clouds pass through.

Funny, how up and down a day can be. In the end.... it's all good.

Saw "Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning" last Sat night, sold out, dinner and the movie always works for us.

I am going to offer my humble opinion, I have seen every Tom Cruise movie for over 30 years now. He is the greatest actor of my lifetime..bar none. The things this guy will do to set him apart from everyone else is mind blowing!

I do not want to ruin this if you have not seen it yet, or even care, but in the first 5 minutes of this movie he does something that the Thais were screaming and clapping and stood up for...I kid you not. Even wifey said "Oiiii, I have never seen anyone do this here before" They love this guy here. I thought Led Zeppelin was coming onstage!

This stunt took over a year to do, with all the training he had to endure and the number of times  they had to do it  to actually got it right tells you how dedicated this guy is to his craft.

Sorry dude ... Clint Eastwood is the greatest. I like Cruise's movies for the most part but he tends to reach, e.g., as Jack Reacher, for roles he's too short to pull off.

That said, they all make forgettable movies and that Eastwood monkey movie was pretty bad.

Yes, I read the books. Reacher is 6 foot 5 inches and built like a Mack truck!! But after watching that video, much respect, the guy has guts and dedication. And it's not like he needs the money!

Alan Ritchson as Reacher in the Amazon Prime Reacher series was much better.

Just wondering where this may belong. One of you guys must know

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-66220494

The Indian Ocean gets hit with a fair amount of space debris, so my guess would be a satellite pressure vessel for propellant.

Found this site that has something similar in shape to the debris that washed ashore in Australia.

Just finished cleaning up the mess I made of my new 70L dry cabinet.

Thought it would be easier to remove the shipping tape that was holding the shelves in place by turning it on its side. Unfortunately the door isn't designed to support its own weight when opened on its side. The result was the frame flexed enough to shatter the safety glass. Now have a message to the seller to see if I can by a replacement door. Worst case scenario is I find a glass specialist in Pattaya that can replace the glass for me.

Wondering now if it's too early for a beer. :default_drink:

Finished repairing the glass door on my new dry cabinet. Couldn't find a place that had safety glass so went with clear acrylic cut to size by a shop on Thepprasit. Cost was only 300B.

Functionally it works just as well as the safety glass, but in hindsight I should have gone with smoke color so as to hide the messy job I made of the black silicone. Not a big deal though as nobody but me will see it in the spare bedroom I'm using as a photo studio.

Nice looking fish and chips. Is it cod, haddock or the non-traditional "rock salmon".

I've been to Whitby a few times, but more interestingly this was where Dracula came ashore and also spent much of his time terrorising the local virgins.

There was a sign in the foyer of the small church telling people dracula and bram stocker aren't buried here so stop asking where the graves are lol
