Always been a big donor to charity, just how I am. I have bought quite a bit of furniture from the British Heart Foundation. There is a large store in Swansea which I frequent. They also sell quite a lot of brand new furniture. Happy to give back, as the foundation were very helpful with rehabilitation, health information etc., after my heart operation. 1 1

Which A&E is that mate? Last week I noticed at the big hospital in Det Udom the signs on the side of the building say "Emergency and Accidental" ... I think "Accidental" is quite apt for you ! Best of luck !!!

boydeste
Just binge watched The Long Shadow. A crime series about the investigation into the Yorkshire Ripper. What an absolute cluster f**k of mistakes and arrogance by the officers in charge! It's 3am, time for some kip. 1
Derek Dangleberries
Taking this long drive to Pattaya tomorrow has reminded me of the regular trips I used to take around 15 years ago driving from Kamphaengphet to Pattaya. I'd get into The Rock House late Friday night and have a great time in there, mainly because Mulphy was always in the Philippines during that period and Mrs Mulphy was more relaxed when he wasn't there. It really was a great place to be in those days, especially having a good snog with Leeta (RIP) before she had to go work on a customer that wanted to barfine her..... They really were Happy Days !! 1

I'm expecting a 4 hour drive along the 24 to the turn off to the 304. I want to make it as far as possible before tiredness sets in and we'll stop wherever is convenient.

Once had a Lt. from an adjacent department create a massive mob situation (huge cluster fcuk that required myself and several of my officers to sort out). Put me and my guys in an unecessary and dangerous situation, for a simple warrant. I will never forget that one. Later told the guy to fcuk off in a major way. The NHS is so underfunded it’s why waiting time is so long, they are drastically understaffed. It’s something I know a lot about through my sister Jan, God rest her soul, and her girlfriend Sally as they both have/did work as NHS nurses all their lives. 2 1

Reminds me of when I broke my elbow around a year ago.Went to Watford A & E on a Sunday morning & after a few hours I gave up & went to an urgent care centre in Hemel Hempstead(after ringing them to make sure they could do X-rays). Trouble with A & E's is that they're getting more urgent cases,eg traffic accidents,in all the time & a mere fracture keeps getting pushed backwards. In the end I saw a doc in HH & got the X-ray & a sling & that was it. 1 1

KhunDon
1 hour ago, Stillearly said: Did everything finally get sorted ? Our County Hospital A&E have a separate triage department, so after you book in at reception, you proceed to the triage area where a specialist nurse takes your details, plus BP etc and if required, they can cut down the wait for doctors to order XRay by sending you for them directly, so they can reduce the time you’re in A&E. When my son fractured his leg, the triage team had him XRay’d, looked at the fractured leg XRay and sent him directly to the Orthopaedic technician who set his leg and a second XRay was taken to make sure the leg was set correctly. Only then did a doctor see him and confirm the fracture and that a plaster and fibreglass cast was the best treatment for his type of leg fracture. The doctor spent around 1 minute looking at the XRay’s and 1 minute confirming the cast was applied properly. Our son was in and out in couple of hours.
