Career tragically cut short at the age of 33 when he lost his right arm and eye when struck by an airplane propeller at an airport. Anyone who has dived in Thailand has probably used equipment he supplied or serviced in his >30 years in business here. He also supplied vital equipment to the cave rescue team in 2018 as described in this article. Minder was and still is a brilliant series. him and George Cole had great on screen chemistry, and if there's an episode on I'll always watch it. I never got to see much of the Sweeney, but again, great series. Wasn't he once married to Rula Lenska?.
