Horizondave
Theakston Old Peculiar in Wetherspoon Neath. A beautiful beer. Don't come into town often (I live across the valley) but nice to have a good pint at a good price (£2.10). Soon off for a bit of shopping and to buy some ingredients for my wife's Pad Krapow Gung (prawn). Porn works till 7 pm, takes the bus home now, and enjoys my cooking placed in front of her when she walks in the door. I used to pay about £250 a month petrol just to take her to work so now she takes the bus (£86 a month) so she deserves a good feed. 5

Was one of two beers, Landlord being the first that as a Londoner going to a northern Uni, got me into real ales. OP was the end of the session beer. Sure it was stronger on draft back in the day. A friend of mine was in Wetherspoon near Tower Bridge, London, and he paid £3.69 for a guest ale which I suppose is a good deal for a London pub. Can't complain about prices in Neath and surrounding areas.

Surprised about your taste review Robert, i have been drinking it for 2 years now, since first seeing it in my local 7-11. I have always been a "Singha man" and really enjoy the Reserve version, although i have seen it in very few bars so it is mostly my home tipple. Maybe you picked up a bad bottle mate ???
