Popular Post Yesitisdakid Posted August 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 22, 2020 I have been traveling the country for 6 of the last 8 weeks. It is a good time to be here if you do not get your income from Thailand. There are tons of women all over I have been to Kanchanburi, Ayutthaya, Ubon, Khon Khen, Buriram, Nong Khai, Udon Thani, Hua Hin, Surat Thani, Koh Samui. I spent either 2 or 3 nights in each location as well as started the trip and finished it in Bangkok. Now home and looking to book another trip very soon. I traveled on Trains ,Buses, Mini buses,Mini Vans all over the road saw great things. It is so cheap to travel now the rooms were never more than 600 baht a night and most 450 or 500. My only must haves were big bed Air Con and flat screen TV and Fridge. All of them had these things most also had coffee makers as well. I also booked hotels close to the bus and Train stations in each town. the last trip the total cost of everything Transportation, Food ,Rooms and massages 57,500 baht or about 1850 US Dollars. 5 girls ST also in those numbers. I really did not want to post this as it mose likely not easy to read for some that have no idea when they will be allowed back. Tommy Dee called me on another matter and said I should post it so i have. Here are a few Photos nothing special but stuff I took during the trip Sorry if any of the photos are posted twice I screwed up 17 5 2 4
KWA Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I've got some catching up to do, and I've been returning to Pattaya for a week each time after a week or so on the road. Trip 1 was Bangkok and Hua Hin, trip 2 was Bangkok, Khon Kaen and Kalasin. Trip 3 is next week and is Korat, Nong Khai and maybe Udon Thani. As well as the trains, I've used or looked at these bus companies when choosing how to travel. Any additions to this list would be appreciated. Nakhonchaiair Bus Co Sri Mongkol Bus Co. Chan Tours (thanks Andy!) Pattana 407 Bus Co. A couple more with no names or names I didn't catch - one on Pattaya Klang just before Foodland and one in central Hua Hin. And for anyone that didn't know, the airport bus from Suvarnabhumi to Jomtien (and vv) has started up again with a three times daily schedule. 1 1

Sea-Hawks Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 ....Mmmmm - Nong Khai & Surat Thani ? Never had those on my travel list. Maybe will take a peak after my Chiang Mai visit. Just put in an offer for a place in Patts, but this next time around, plan to visit other parts of Thailand, not just BKK/Patts

That is the only issue I had with any of the bus companies or the Thailand trains I was wondering about that having read news reports of some with an anti-farang attitude. Good to hear it was only one bus company. And thanks for the TR. So much to see and do in Thailand. 1

It is unlikely that I will retire fulltime in Thailand but if that changes I will probably make Nong Khai my home. 1
