I feel the same way myself, it's bloody ridiculous wearing these things outdoors. We've recently received word in my jurisdiction that all restrictions are being lifted on March 18, and we can stop wearing masks in almost all indoor places then; and as far as I concerned, any business insisting that I wear a mask after this date will not receive any of my business. I'll make an exception for hospitals or clinics or airplanes but generally I will not be wearing one myself anymore, although I am sure there are many paranoid individuals who will be wearing these things everywhere for a long time to come. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was the first EU country to adopt the measure. The government now says it considers it disproportionate to the threat posed by the Omicron variant. Health Minister Johannes Rauch said the decision would be reviewed again in three months, and could be reintroduced if a new variant made it necessary. It comes as nearly 48,000 new infections were announced in Austria, more than at any time since the pandemic began.
