No mate. I normally laugh at them, but my head would be in the oven by the weekend.

There should be a Chinese style lockdown on the morons on social media at the moment.

That said, strong rumour London is going to go into a Spain style lockdown very soon, army to help enforce it.

That's Boris f***d then.

What, the ones with the American plates driving on the American side of the road, taken in America? More shite on social media and exactly what's i'm talking about.

Was down at Ridley Road today panics buying, fruit, prawns and bog roll. Love this place, hopefully they'll allow it to stay open same as the supermarkets.

Army on the streets near Paris too.

Guys in my team fled the city en mass before the lockdown was announced to their families in the country side.

May see similar in London..

Told the same yesterday from a family member working in local government., regarding a lockdown of London.

Police and military being told to be prepared to mobilise by the end of the week/next.

Not really a surprise given in terms of growth rate of infection we are tracking Italy. The political editor on Channel 4 news then later hinted at discussions in Whitehall over further measures being taken in London due to it being seen as hotspot for new infections.

Maybe the Army can put a stop to panic buying of prawns on Ridley Road - guess you are partial to a Prawn Krapow 😉

Last post before I check out for good and let you live the end of the world among yourselves... (except for a few which I feel optimist).

Boss from.beach cantine just offered me a glass of wine, we shook hands and said "f**k the virus". Thats the way to do it.

Happy sailing boys, and dont worry for me !

And NOW i wind my neck in !

Schools closed in UK, transport around London is to well cut back, tube buses etc. Think the bars, restaurants thing will start to be compulsory now as well.

Ringing the gym this morning before I leave, incase it's now shut as well. Was half empty anyway, which was great, plenty space like they recommend.

Troops on the streets of Paris as France is told ‘we are at war’ against coronavirus

People in France have been told they will only be able to leave their homes for necessary trips such as going to the supermarket or to work. French President Emmanuel Macron said ‘movements will be very strongly reduced’ for at least 15 days beginning at midday tomorrow. He told the nation on television that the government ordered the restrictions because people haven’t complied with earlier public health measures and ‘we are at war.’

Finally you get something right......lol

To be honest, if I had to pick one of the numerous 'theories' going round regarding this, I'd go with China doing this intentionally, and now sitting back pissing themselves at the state of the West and crashing economics.

Careful what you wish for😉

My favourite denier to date has to be the Ayatollah Hashem Bathayi (not a great club to be part of). Stone dead from Covid-19 7 days days after telling the faithful they needed to be more afraid of God.

Don't know if you will be able to view this UK video, but circa 6 mins 28s seconds for the now very dead denier.

After all countries have closed their borders it is just nonsense mathematically.

If is only valid.between country A with zero of minimal infection and country B with high infection rate. In that case it makes sense for A to close its border with B.

Between countries with identical infection rates it doesn't change much. So who is afraid of who ? US crom Canada or vice versa ?

even in schengen area it makes sense then

As a bit of a reality check I searched for first person accounts of those that have contracted the virus. Saw many, but here's two examples.

One positive opinion piece from one who concluded "coronavirus doesn't have to be a horrible calamity" and encourages people not to panic.
I have the coronavirus. So far, it isn't that bad.

And from another who has struggled, but is recovering.
Ohio mom recovering from coronavirus describes early symptoms: 'Unlike anything I've ever had before'

Unfortunately neither provide medical histories, but based on the stats out there it's not a stretch to assume one was in decent shape to begin with and perhaps the other had prior medical issues.

Once the virus dust settles, I'll look forward to the analysis from the experts as to what was done right, and what the world could have done better in handling this pandemic.
