I’m waiting for the Black Friday sales, or even BOGOF offers. 🤣

No doubt the outbreak there is much worse than is being reported, CCP won't dare let its citizens go abroad and risk making the situation worse.
fforest
Masks are useless....... Says so right on the freaking box!! What more proof is needed? This is the mask about 80-90% of the people wear in Thailand... So is mask wearing based on good science or Theater? Nightcrawler
There are lots of other masks available. I have seen loads of people in UK wearing the better ones. Masks are for one way traffic mainly and apparently more effective to prevent a person who is or maybe infected from spreading it. Coughs and sneezes are interrupted and the distance of spray is muted. If people feel safer using a mask then good luck to them as long as they also clean their hands regularly as well 1

(Wish the weed had been...) I wear them filter side out. That way whatever comes your way is filtered. Good for allergy season here...less hay fever when out & about...it's windy. Masks are required in public places (shops, etc.), and when social distancing is problematic. Easy, really.
Nightcrawler
I had a bit of a drive today mainly around my local area in the South of London. I noticed quite a lot of traffic about. Probably double what it was 2 weeks ago. A lot more shops appear to be open too but apart from Supermarkets, DIY superstores and Garden Centres they seem to be small shops mainly selling food. My local garage was open and I got my mate who works there to stick in some new fog light bulbs for me Halfords cycle and motor parts also open with distancing queues about 50 metres long. Lots of girls walking about in tight leggings Most people wearing masks and seem to be observing the distance rules. Beautiful sunny day in London and the air feels fresh. 2

More bullshit from the so called government health "advisors" I could easily be wrong. However as, I mentioned, if you were to cough or sneeze wearing a mask, then the projectile of saliva would be muted by the mask. That's the idea anyway 2
thegrogmonster
Things are very slowly returning to normal. I live across the road from a railway station and this is how I have been gauging things, in normal times the car park is full and all the surrounding streets have cars parked everywhere. At the peak of the virus the car park was about 5% full and the streets empty. At the moment the carpark would be a third full with the surrounding streets still empty. Every day a few more commuters are returning back to work.

If everyone wore a decent mask then the spread would be reduced for sure!

At least that what my parents teached me 60y ago, and I taught my kids..... Hell, even if alone at home I use a tissue.

The mask wearers should be rejoicing that the human population is being culled of all the stupid dangerous neanderthal non mask wearers right?? Funny how the non mask wearers never seem to attack the mask wearers and try and force them not to wear a mask...........unlike the mask wearers.....
