Had this in the fridge since long time, so today decided to invite 3 mates to enjoy it together.

Good old style, 4 around the table at home enjoying foie gras and a excellent wine.  That's what life is supposed to be about !

The wine was fabulous, and a perfect match with the foie gras.

This is from yesterday's effort to throw some chicken and potatoes into the slow cooker, add a curry packet mix to a can of chopped tomatoes,  mix with some chopped onions and then whacking on all day.

Turned out pretty good, served on some Mexican rice.

Been playing...1604341000307574396326461767472.jpg

Breaded chicken strips (yes, I cut, floured, egged and breadcrumbed), and chips made from real potatoes.

I added some of those beans in tomato sauce that we are so keen on, but as they were microwaved not done in the air fryer they aren't shown!

Result? Need more practice for the chicken! Very nice, but colour uneven.

I got one over in Thailand; the same offer as Mr Striderman.  I like it; the only thing I miss is not having an electronic timer on; the mechanical one is OK but in my view not as good as digital electronic one.

Also try normal frozen oven chips; they come up great!

I soak my chicken breasts in olive oil and pepper before I throw into the air fryer and also dump the remaining olive oil into the fryer as well ...

I am totally surprised how really good the air fryer cooks everything I have tried ..

How long before consumption do you take it out the fridge?

Doesn't it say on the instructions not to put oil in there?

The foie gras, I took it out 2 hours before but kept it in the jar. I put it on a plate about 15 min before serving.

Wine same, out of the fridge 2 h before, and opened it 1 hour before consumption. If you have a decanter, its better. Pour it in a decanter about 30 to 45 min before serving.
