Although,I have to be honest. woukd you rather die with a shit load other people, under these circumstances,or on your own from something else? there is a certain calmness to dying as a whole. Probably why people take out a bunch of others before offing themselves. Could be wrong though. that might be Pandora’s box right there.

thumper63
Just finished watching the Gershwin Awards at the Library of Congress. The award this year went to Garth Brooks. What a fantastic show. Was on PBS and a very welcome tribute to a very great man.

I have been fishing 3 times in the last two weeks and have had exactly two bites and caught one fish ...........but it did put up a good fight. 😀 Mine is freshwater fishing and 100f daytime temperatures and no rain for three months are not the ideal conditions. But it is a nice big natural lake and that building on the left (still) does good, cheap food and large bottles of very cold beer. 🤣 Edited April 1, 2020 by Jambo 1

I can think of no better reason to be out on the sea ( I use fishing mainly as an escape to pound beers - even though I don't need a reason ) ..... Beach Gals knows ... LOL I go out just about every morning .... even if I caught a fish I don't know what to do with it ... probably throw it back in ... no room in the cooler ... lol Yea, I cannot remember the last time it rained down here .... the sun is a scorcher .... it is a shame I have to dress like nomad .. if not I would get fried ... my body can't do the sun very well ... guess it is still the city boy in me .... I spent 10 years going every September to try to catch a 10lb barbel out of the river Stour at a place that was a shoot and only allowed fishing for that one month of September. I landed many smaller fish, got smashed by some monsters, then in two consecutive bites landed one of just under and then one just over the magical 10lb mark. For those of you that fish I free lined a large lob worm straight through the streamer weed. Never went again. The challenge was no more. Still went on holiday with the same mates to Bournemouth but we just took the golf clubs and gambled in the casino each night. Then I came to Thailand for the first time and realised that the 100GBP I spent each night (on a maximum bad night) in the casino bought 7,000 pussy vouchers. Sorry, Bournemouth. 🤣
Jambo
Watering duties this morning. Spoke to my oldest daughter in Scotland last night. Quite a few cases in the Lothians where they live just outside Edinburgh and they are all following the guidelines to self isolate as much as possible. Mostly they are bored to tears except my grandaughter who is at home getting on with all the course project work she has to do for a higher in art. That makes a nice change from the subjects she has to concentrate on to become a vet.

Sorry, Bournemouth. 🤣 I’m still trying to break the 50lb mark with a Chinook. All salmon fishing closed here today, same as last year, all because of 70 fucking killer whales that the greenies reckon are thin. Its a piss off because then they will open the rivers up to the “First Nations”,and they will clean everything out in four days. Political bullshit, fucking sucks. friends of mine own a sport fishing resort in Barclay Sound, west coast Vancouver island. they are having people cancel trips everyday and it looks like they will go tits up this year.Because of Corona. brutal Eagle Nook Resort Google and have a look. 2
