Just had my second jab , took 25 mins including the 15 minute wait time afterwards.... fingers crossed no side effects ..

I got mine tomorrow.

Home from fishing and sorting out all my stuff, last time I was wrecked for 48 hours so I plan to do nothing for the week end. Ordering in a couple of pizzas sounds like a good idea too methinks!

I will do similar later, a trip to Tescos to stock up on basics and some beer.

The weather is shite here too.

The day went to plan, fishing gear sorted, a 2 mile walk between rain showers and a visit to Tescos.

Now fully stocked up with food and beer for the weekend.

2nd jab tomorrow so no food taken out of the freezer, it will be a pizza from my favourite place!

Just finished painting the very last wall at the house in Bangsaray.

It has taken me over three weeks at about 4 hours work per day to prepare and completely repaint the outside of the house, window frames, all the exterior walls and not forgetting the garden shed! The neighbours dog "Ting Tong" is looking a bit white in places as well. 🤣

In between I have been doing much work in the garden as well.

It has given me much satisfaction to undertake and complete this "project" totally myself. Whilst in Mae Sot I spent far too much time, and particularly every afternoon, doing nothing much more than reading my kindle or watching Netflix on my tablet. Not doing anything much saved me from apparently not being able to do too much right!

No side effects from my 2nd jab 🙂

just come back from a five mile walk , the rain managed to stay away for the duration 🙂

Just home from my 2nd jab, very efficient system, straight in and out 20 mins later. (5 mins to register and get jabbed then 15mins sat down after).

Pizza and a mixed kebab ordered.

Now feet up for an evening of TV.

Happy that Porn has had her first jab (at only 33 ), she had Pfizer.

I have also just got back from the doctors after having a few of my moles checked out, only one he wants to keep an eye on but the majority not of issue.  I have also been put on a Cholesterol tablet, atorvastatin is the one.

Thankfully I have been signed off work until my 66th birthday on 09 July.  Was retired anyway really but sometimes people chase you in government.

Will have a nice Welsh beer with my pie and chips in about 15 mins.

That`s the same statin I take Dave. Was it one of the Brecon Brewery beers you bought when we were at the Designer Outlet?

Just home from the emergency room. I was stocking boxes of hardwood flooring 4 days ago for the job I'm on. Boxes weigh a good 80 pounds and I had it hoisted up onto my right shoulder. As I stepped down from one deck onto a concrete sidewalk I was short by 85%, sending my foot into a total vertical position. Never have I sprained my foot so damn bad. Hurt like the dickens.... but I didn't drop the box. Of course the extra weight just drove me leg into the ground that much harder. Was getting any better so went to hospital today to get xrays. Seems I have 2, what they call Avulsion fractures in the left foot. But on the bright side its not broken.

No still got most of those beers especially the 10% Mind Bleach which I will have when feeling brave.

It was a Gower Brewery beer called Rumour, a lovely Ruby beer referred to on the back of the bottle as 'lush', a great word. A friendly 5%.  Bought it together with another of their fine beers called Black Diamond when we were in Port Eynon last week.

Up and about, slept solid for 9 hours.

Apart from my arm aches pretty bad, I don't feel too bad.

BUT, I have been on the loo 4 times since waking up, my body must be empty by now!

Whether it's the jab or last nights kebab I don't know, but the rest of that meat is going straight in the bin just in case.

Most likely measle meat in the Kebab. I never eat them. Especially with meat carved from those rotating spits. The temperature in the middle is ideal for bacteria and we never know how long the meat has been hanging around.
